Dorsal regions of the first and second right
pleural scutes of this female had
been shaded by her transmitter cap for 10.5 years when photographed. Examination of regions shaded
by transmitter cap reveals an almost
imperceptible color loss when compared to the adjacent, sun exposed, areas of the first
vertebral scute and ventral edges
of the first and second right pleural scutes.
